Join the Greenville Suzuki Strings Association!

The Greenville Suzuki Strings Association is an organization dedicated to encouraging and supporting a Suzuki strings program for the children and adults of our community.

Suzuki instruction made its debut in Greenville, Texas, in the Fall of 2002 with violin lessons taught by Mr. Rigo Murillo for the four year old Hunt County Head Start students at L. P. Waters Early Childhood Center.

The Association was formed in the fall of 1997 as the Greenville Symphony League following a reception attended by patrons from Greenville and the surrounding areas. While originally the intent was promoting the North Texas Symphony Orchestra concerts along with establishing a strings program, the direction of this organization has been redefined and limited to the single purpose of supporting and sustaining a local strings program. With this new direction in mind, the name of the organization changed to Greenville Suzuki Strings Association to accurately reflect our objectives.
